This policy explains what information HoursToPay ("we") handles when you use this website, and why.
What you enter stays on your device
The pay, prices, settings and wishlist you enter in the calculator are saved in your browser's local storage, so they are there when you come back. They are not sent to us. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
We do not have user accounts and we do not ask for your name, email or location to use the calculator.
Services the site uses
- Exchange rates. Your browser downloads current exchange rates from open.er-api.com (ExchangeRate-API). That request does not include anything you entered, but like any web request it shares your IP address with that service.
- Fonts. Text fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when they load.
- Hosting. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages visited, to run and protect the site.
Advertising and cookies
We show ads from Google AdSense to keep HoursToPay free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before ads use cookies.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not follow you across other websites. When a page loads, it records basic details such as the page address, the site that linked you here, your browser type, your country and how fast the page loaded. Cloudflare handles this data under its privacy policy.
Children
HoursToPay is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
